The format is targeted towards the 45 to 75 year old audience, mixing a variety of talk back programs, such as the John Laws Show, with national and local news – as well as our own live Breakfast and Afternoon shows. 2RE has played an important role in the local community since 1953 and continues to inform and entertain. 2RE’s music features a wide variety from the 70s and 80s, through to more recent times.
MAX 1073
Music is the vital part of programming. Broadcasting since January 1997, MAX 1073 targets 18 to 44 year olds with a mix of today’s hottest music and classic rock. Our Breakfast and afternoon programs also feature competitions, song requests, comedy and music-based features.
