Anthony joined 2RE in the year 2000. He lives in Forster with his wife, Adele, who works in aged care. They can often be seen walking the breakwalls together and dining out around town.

Anthony has also MC’d at various charity functions over the years, including trivia nights, sports events and charity fundraisers.

  • Kevin Rayment

    kevin@2re.com.au

Kevin actually started at 2RE way back when flairs were in fashion…1977…however this is the second coming for our elder statesman. Kevin left for a stint at 8HA Alice Springs in 1989 then left radio altogether, worked a few jobs before setting up his own ‘On-Hold’ business. He returned to 2RE in 1997 and is married to Cheryl and they have 4 children.

  • Glen Thomas

    production@2re.com.au

Glen can be heard every second Saturday and sometimes fills in weekday afternoons. His main role is producing our commercials and on-air promotional material.

Glen joined the team in 1992 after working as a pizza delivery boy (see – we take anyone here!!). Glen was a part of the original line up of our sister station MAX 1073 before he took over the production studio. He is married to Karen and for the past 4 decades has dedicated his life to supporting the Bulldogs.

  • Peter Denton

    Peter Denton

    news@2re.com.au

Peter’s very first job was a ‘milko’… and after running around with the cows he decided to do some radio training at the Max Rowley Media Academy. Peter landed his first radio job at 4CA Cairns, then 2VM Moree, and finally in 1991 made a home at 2RE Taree. In June 2000 he took control of the ‘Newsroom’ and quickly banned the rest of us from eating our lunch in there!!!! Peter is married to Kim, who was our receptionist for two decades.  They have 2 daughters.

  • Diane Ward

    Diane Ward

    diane@2re.com.au

Diane’s career as an announcer began as a baby at her parents’ home, babbling purposefully into her rattle. She has since become quite good at it – and is now an in-demand freelance voice-over artist, providing her versatile voice artistry to an impressive list of production houses and recording studios around the country.

Di has worked in TV, radio, on the stage in Newcastle and Sydney, and loves nothing more than performing, sleeping in, travelling, collecting, watching classic films and TV shows, and most of all – eating condensed milk straight from the tin!
